Accessing the Lede WordPress Admin Dashboard

The Lede team or a WordPress Admin on your team need to add you to WordPress if you don’t have access already.

Getting Initial Access to the Lede WordPress Admin:

  1. After being added to WordPress, you will receive an email from donotreply@wpvip.com, with the subject: “[Lede Network] Activate {your-username}”.
  2. Click on the second URL after “Please click the following link to activate your user account”.
  3. You will be taken to a screen that says: “Your account is now active!”.
  4. You will then receive a second email with the subject: “New Lede Network User: {your-username}”.
    • This email contains your username and password, along with a link to sign into the WordPress Admin.
    • Save your username and password securely – consider using a password manager, such as 1Password.

  7. Click the link in this second email to log into the WordPress Admin.
  8. Enter your username and password from the email and click “Log In” – you will be logged into the WordPress Admin.
  9. Click on “Profile” in the left sidebar. Next to “Two-Factor Options”, select and enable at least 1 type of verification, and verify your authentication code. More information on setting up two-factor.

Resetting Your Password

If you forget your password:

  1. Go to the WordPress Admin login screen and click “Lost your password?”.
  2. Enter the username or email address for your account and click “Get New Password”.
  3. You will receive an email with the subject: “[SITE NAME] Password Reset”.
  4. Click the link in the email and set a new password.
    • Store your new password securely.
  5. Store your new password securely.
  6. Click “Save Password”.
  7. You will be brought to a screen that says, “Your password has been reset.” Click the “Log in” link.
  8. Click the link to “Log in with username and password”.
  9. Enter your username and your new password and click “Log In”.
