The Lede platform is compatible with Stripe’s automatic tax calculation for your tax obligations. If you are required to collect tax on your products, complete the following steps.
Required Steps in Stripe:
Verify your Taxation Details are complete and accurate.
Go to Settings > Tax Settings.
Confirm your origin address is correct.
Select your default product tax category.
Confirm your origin address is correct.
Select your default product tax category.
Add registrations (in both live and test mode) for all locations in which you intend to collect tax.
Once you have completed the above, contact the Lede team by filing a support ticket so we can ensure everything is properly enabled in Stripe.
