If you have Google Ad Manager (GAM) setup on your site, you can configure how in-article ads (300×250) are automatically inserted into the posts on your site.
How to automatically insert in-article ads
- In the Publisher App, go to Settings > Ad Networks
- Select the Ad Insertion Method that aligns with your ad strategy. Options currently include:
- Do not insert ads in article content. (This is the default option.)
- Display ad every X blocks. (If you select this option, you choose the value for X – any number between 1 and 10.)
- Display ad at the article halfway point.
- Display ad at the end of the article.
- Display ad at the halfway point and end of the article.

Things to keep in mind
- The Ad Insertion Method applies to all posts on your site, not just newly created posts.
- Ads will NOT be automatically inserted into posts that have manually inserted ads in them.
